Out of School Hours Care 
YMCA Outside School Hours Care is based at Hilder Road State School and welcomes all families of the Hilder Road community.
YMCA Hilder Road OSHC offers a wide range of fun, stimulating, and diverse programs that reflect real-world experiences and home settings. This encourages a sense of community among our children, facilitates leadership skill development, and allows children to practice social skills in a supported and caring environment.
Programs and activities are aligned with the YMCA Mission – to provide opportunities for children to grow in body, mind, and spirit – underpinned by our values of Honesty, Caring, Respect, and Responsibility. We blend this philosophy with the National Quality Framework 'My Time, Our Place' and Hilder Road State School's educational principles to develop appropriate, engaging, and most of all, FUN activities for your child while in our care.
Our Educators escort Prep children to and from their classrooms, as well as all children to and from extra-curricular activities. We provide nutritious breakfasts and afternoon teas (morning tea also included during Vacation Care) that align with Nutrition Australia guidelines.
Hours
Before School Care: 6:30 AM – 8:50 AM (Monday to Friday)
After School Care: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Vacation Care: 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday during school holidays)
Enrolment 
Parents/Guardians are required to enrol with the service before any child can attend – please contact the service for enrolment details.
Attendance at YMCA Hilder Road OSHC can be on a casual, regular, or emergency needs basis.
A meeting with the Coordinator is offered to all families upon enrolment; this is an excellent opportunity to discuss any concerns and ensure your child's time with us is enjoyable. All enrolling families receive an Information Package with additional details and relevant forms.
