Hilder Road State School enjoys a strong sense of community, with parents, other community members and the school maintaining positive partnerships that enrich the learning experience of our students.
Parents and other community members participate in school life in many ways, including:
P&C Association;
School Council;
Volunteering in the classroom;
Assisting with excursions and camps;
Attending School and P&C events;
Fish Creek;
We are very proud of our ongoing relationship with our School Patrons, Jeff and Ann Hilder. The Hilder family donated the school land, and Jeff Hilder was a founding member of the Hilder Road State School P&C Association. Jeff and Ann continue to support Hilder Road State School and attend many school events each year.
Over many years, the P&C have supported the development, regeneration and maintence of Fish Creek. The creek provides a wealth of natural resources for our students to learn and grow. The P&C have put together a comprehensive suite of information that can be found here.
To
support our many parents who work or study, we provide an outside school hours
care (OSHC) service on-site. YMCA operates our service and
offer Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care programs.
