The Hilder Road State School Tuckshop is coordinated and funded by the P&C Association to serve a range of food options for the students. It is open weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30am to 1:45pm.

Tuckshop Convenors:  Kathryn Elsworthy and Di Illingworth

The success of the Tuckshop is dependent on our wonderful volunteer staff. No experience is needed. It is a great way to connect with other parents and the students enjoy seeing their parents helping at the school. The assistance with food preparation and service means costs and prices are minimised and menu options can be increased. We welcome you to join our team for any time you can spare, whether it be a couple of hours a week, or a couple of hours per term. Families who are unable to help on roster can also assist through donating items. Donation drives of products required will be announced through the School Newsletter.

Tuckshop Orders can be placed online for Morning Tea and Lunch through the Flexischools website or App (see Flexischools link below, or click here). Online ordering has a number of advantages. Orders can be placed in advance, it removes the need for cash, is available 24/7 and registration is free.

Go to www.flexischools.com.au to register.

The cut off time for ordering online is 8:15am for all orders on that day. Late orders and brown paper bag orders will incur a $1.00 processing fee.

For more information on how tuckshop works see our guide for new families here.

Some of the snack and treat menu options are also available for cash sale over the counter at Lunch. This is a great opportunity for the children to engage in independent ordering and gain experience in money handling.

The Menu is continually evolving based on seasonal changes and the availability of volunteers. You can find the current Menu herePlease be aware that although the tuckshop will have items that do not contain gluten, the kitchen itself is not a gluten free environment.

We hope you will continue to support our efforts to provide this valuable service for our students. Any profits made from the Tuckshop go back into the P&C fundraising initiatives.

If you have any suggestions, questions or you'd like to volunteer to help, please contact Kathryn and Di by email hrsstuckshop@gmail.com

Alternatively, pop in at school drop off or during tuckshop hours, or call the school office on (07) 3511 3222.
